# Armored Elytras

Drop an elytra and a chestplate onto an anvil to combine them into an Armored Elytra. Dropping the Armored Elytra onto a grindstone separates the two. Enchantments are preserved through both processes. If dropped into lava or a fire, the elytra will be removed but (if it is netherrite) the chestplace will remain.
